Chernobyl at Ropecon

It’s always a joy working with my friend Juhana Pettersson, and great to see a friend’s labor of love come to fruition. So, I’m doubly happy to go to Ropecon, Europe’s finest gaming convention, today for the launch event of Juhana’s new rpg, Tšernobyl, rakastettuni, soon to be out in English too as Chernobyl, Mon Amour. I whipped up the cover illustration and my good friend Tommi Kovala was the graphic designer. It’s a game about love and alienation set in the irradiated town of Pripyat, 30 years after the meltdown, and an expression of Juhana’s own passion for a very specific way of playing. A fine day!
